I think everybody must experience The “Lemon Garden Cafe” at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, it has a relaxing atmosphere and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner food. The menu is mostly based on fresh vegetables that are cooked with different herbs in an abundance of flavor. The staff is helpful and friendly to all who walk in.

This restaurant also goes through cultural diversity that can be seen by how it can cater for both westerners and locals alike throughout the year. It also receives high reviews for their gluten free options as well as religious dietary restrictions such as halal.

With the use of a few different ingredients, the chefs creates delicious meals for the patrons to enjoy. The food is healthy and nutritious with an abundance of flavor. The food items are not only made with fresh seafood but also fresh vegetables as well.

They have a variety of food items including appetizers, salads, soups, poultry, fish, meat, and desserts to choose from. They even provide a gluten free menu for their patrons who have gluten allergies. The food tastes great; however, the only thing is that it may take some time to get your order. The prices of the various foods range greatly depending on what you are getting but it can be a bit pricey. Most of the food on the menu will cost you over $20. In addition, they are aware of the need of their patrons to have halal foods so they now have that available as well.

The Lemon Garden Cafe is located at the lobby level of the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. It has a relaxing atmosphere and provides great food with an abundance of flavor. It offers delicious, healthy choices for its customers to make their day even more enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and the food is amazing.

The most important color in decorating your baby’s room is the soothing, relaxing and calming color. This color creates a peaceful ambiance that will help a little one feel safe and calm in his or her crib. After deciding on the perfect shade for your baby, there are other important considerations to take into account when coordinating colors for your nursery. For instance, Certain colors generates visual noise that could be less conducive to the baby’s sleeping. For me, I would suggest baby blue or pink depending on the gender of your baby 🙂

New legal implementation should make it easier for expats to come and purchase property in Malaysia. Given that there are a lot of unsold units, pretty sure the government is trying to mitigate the loss from such projects by making it easier for foreigners to purchase properties in Malaysia.  The MM2H program is a great example of trying to achieve the integration between foreign element with the local culture.

July 8, 2021 at 5:04 pm in reply to: How many types of Laksa are there?

Laksa is basically a Malaysian dish consisting of rice noodles served in a curry sauce or hot soup. There are many different variations of laksa that have developed in Malaysia and Singapore. Ingredients for laksa may include chicken stock, coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal root or fresh turmeric root, chillies and shrimp paste. Variations may also include coconut cream and other types of seafood such as crab meat or prawns (shrimps) and fish balls made from ground white fish mixed with chives or onions.

Different regions in Malaysia have different types of laksa. For example, the Puri (famous for seafood) laksa from Penang uses fresh turmeric or galangal instead of lime leaves, the Sarawakian laksa uses a greater emphasis on belacan (shrimp paste), the Kedah and Perak laksas are using tamarind as a souring agent. The Kelantanese laksas use durian as well as tamarind while the Johorean laksa has coconut milk base.
