Ampang (5/6)

Ampang is a very interesting region as part of it is in Selangor (Ampang Jaya) while the other is in Kuala Lumpur (just Ampang). Development projects are mostly concentrated near Ampang Road. Ampang has a high concentration of embassies, resulting in an influx of expats in the area. This boosts the region's diversity. For example, there is the Korean Village where locals and other expats can immerse themselves in everything Korean. In terms of pricing, due to its close proximity to the KL city centre, rental rates can be on the slightly higher side. Also, many expats often stay in Ampang due to the many embassies in the area.  However, there are still hidden gems in the area which offers pretty reasonable prices if one looks hard and earnestly. Ampang, being a region with plenty of historical significance, provides ample restaurants, malls, and medical services to its residents. Given the recent development of TRX, as well as additional MRT stops and the Menara PNB, one can anticipate that Ampang, due to its proximity to the KL city centre, will be in the spotlight as a strategic investment location in the near future.
