    Renting a Place out as an Expat

    I am a foreigner planning to buy properties in Malaysia. However, since I am not familiar with the country’s property market, I want to know what it’s like for a foreigner trying to rent out his/her place to the locals? Are there additional incurred costs associated with the process? What about the local’s perception?
