Renting a Home/Room near KLCC
Hello everyone,
I am a fresh grad from Sabah who just landed a job in KL. I will be working at a company which is within close proximity to KLCC. So, my instinct is telling me that renting a place there would be pretty expensive. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to drive a car (planning to get this done in the coming months), so, I probably cannot afford to commute by car. I don’t always go to KL so, it will be a while until I get familiar with the public transportations. What are some of the suggestions that you have for me? Ideally, I only need a place to rest for the night and a kitchen to prep my meals.

I would suggest looking for properties in the Kampung Baru area. They to be on the more affordable side. It would most likely be too expensive if you’re looking to rent an entire house, but a room for about RM 600 is definitely doable in the Kg Baru area. Transportation should be alright since you’re staying near KLCC. Maybe try to get a driver’s license soon? The place would definitely be better suited to your budget. Good luck!
