ARCHIDEX 2020, International Architecture, Interior Design, and Building Exhibition, aims at providing the platform for creativity and innovation. Slated as South East Asia’s most successful annual industry trade event, ARCHIDEX 2020 incorporates various events and highlights for the attendees. The following highlights some of the annual events at the ARCHIDEX 2020:
- ARCHITALENT
An architecture students design competition which aims at gathering the country’s most innovative and creative architectural designs. In addition, this design competition is a joint collaboration between Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia and C.I.S Network Sdn. Bhd.
A platform for guest speakers to introduce new materials, novel technology and solutions, sustainable products, and industry updates.
This forum discusses the trends and progress within the industry. Often, the event sees experienced industrial experts sharing their knowledge and experience with attendees.
- Awards & Accolades Ceremony
The two main awards are the New Product Award (NPA) and the Green Dot Award (GDA) which honors new design innovations and sustainability respectively. Recipients often incorporate novelty or sustainability into their designs without compromising aesthetics and practicality.
- DATUM:KL, DATUM:GREEN, and DATUN+PLUS
This annual international architectual design conference presents and discusses some of the world’s extraordinary architectural designs. In the ARCHIDEX 2019, the convention’s theme was “TOMORROW”, a discussion on ideas and concepts for a better tomorrow.
Although ARCHIDEX 2020 is open to the public, the organizer requires registration before exhibition entry. Attendees also need to abide by the dress code, i.e. proper business attire. Moreover, the organizer targets audience from different backgrounds – practising architects, engineers, professors, students, and the public.
